Learn how to create music and develop a community of friends to jam with. Develop skills to read, create and improvise music on piano. My teaching philosophy is based on creative expression through improvisation. Lessons are catered towards your musical goals.
Cancellation Policy
Lesson Booking Policy Thank you for your interest in lessons. I offer private guitar and music instruction in the Denver area (in-home lessons) as well as online. My goal is to provide consistent, focused instruction that helps students grow as confident, lifelong musicians. Please review the policies below before booking. Lesson Locations In-Home Lessons: Available throughout the Denver area. Online Lessons: Available via Zoom or a similar platform. For in-home lessons, students must provide a quiet, distraction-free space suitable for learning. Deposit & Payment Structure A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your lesson spot. This deposit secures your recurring weekly time slot. Lessons are billed in 4-lesson blocks to maintain consistency and commitment. The remaining balance for each 4-lesson block is due at the first lesson of that cycle. Your lesson time is not reserved until the deposit has been received. Scheduling Lessons occur at the same day and time each week. If you need to change your time slot, availability is not guaranteed and must be arranged in advance. Cancellations & Missed Lessons Because your lesson time is reserved exclusively for you, the following policy applies: At least 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule a lesson. Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice are forfeited. No-shows are forfeited. Make-up lessons are offered at my discretion and based on availability. If I need to cancel a lesson, you will receive either a rescheduled lesson or a credit applied to your next billing cycle. Commitment & Progress Consistent attendance and regular practice between lessons are essential for meaningful progress. By reserving a recurring time slot, you are committing to: Weekly attendance Active participation Practicing between lessons Progress depends largely on the effort put in outside of lesson time. Online Lesson Requirements For virtual lessons, students are responsible for: A stable internet connection. A functional camera and microphone. Being logged in and ready at the scheduled time. Lessons begin and end at the scheduled time regardless of technical delays on the student’s side.
